Use of Available Cash or Cash Reserves for Purchasing Any Item

I just want to suggest (if it's possible) the use of available cash or cash reserves for purchasing any item. I just notice that you can only use cash in buying or purchasing land and base production income but not for any item for equipment, stat boosts and the like.
