I have a new issue, At least twice now,I have lost a battle,against a foe that I shouldn't have...upon investigation of the 'details', I have discovered that a different army, other than mine, was used in the battle.
In the first battle, it was a defense, in the second, I was attacking
As we are not allowed a record of offense activities, there is no close details to show, I do have the details for the defensive battle.
I was wondering if you have any thoughts on this,,,,

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "different army", but if you're talking about observing different units, I can tell you that different units are chosen in battle depending on their level and the level of the combatants.
Sorry Alex, Ronin was unaware that his troops have been visiting my casino/whorehouse complex and we've been hiring temps to fill in for them. The temps are not always up to speed on how to dress or operate war machines and can sometimes lead to disasters on the battlefield.
After Happy Hour is over, I'll send them back to him so he can win battles again.

And note how their army is changed as well. These are two attacks by the same person, only minutes apart.

It also depends on the place from where the attack is initiated (Battle board, Sanctions board etc.)
But still, tell us who the other player is and if something similar has happened again.

Both of these defensive battles were initiated from the revenge list, The other incident that I referred to was from my battle feed
I have seen a glitch here, where if you attack someone via the revenge list then you can attack them with the sanction rules rather than the battleboard rules.
What I mean by battleboard rules is that you fight at the lower levels army level and by sanction rules I mean that you fight at the higher players level.
Now maybe when I did a revenge attack upon a player, and they were a higher level than me, then the initial attack upon which I am making my revenge was possibly made via the sanction board and thus the "system" made its battle formula calculations based on that.
