View Full Version : Members and Junior Members

I just noticed that some people that post here are "Members" and some, (myself included), are "Junior Members"... does this mean that I am qualified for a student discount? that I can't get into "R" rated Warzone Armageddon discussions?
I tried looking in the faq and found nothing to reference this subject on membership, (regular vs. junior), and honestly find it rather degrading that it denotes that I need a high chair to sit at the topic table...
(no matter how factually correct that assessment may be).
While I am mentally all of three years old, I assure you that physically I am much older, (and even by those standards, am a mental giant on the discussion battlefield compared to most RAS members.)

It seems that RAS Slaughter is the only one here with a "member"...

There goes my "manli-hood".

Hmm, you must have made somebody happy, you are now a member. Machiavelli

perhaps it is based on number of posts made? (irregardless of content, obviously)

@Machiavelli, it's a standard 'user title' system, based on the number of posts. Post more than 30 messages and you are given the title of 'Member' and more than 100 for the title of 'Senior Member' ;)

Why dress me up and call me "Susie"! I've got an answer!

Ronin's guess was correct, (as confirmed by the gracious admin who answered my question.)

Thanks, Mr. Administrator for your reply. I appreciate the information.

p.s. Billy, you're still a "JUNIOR MEMBER" I see... snicker

Hey? If I become a "Senior Member", does that mean that I can get a 15% discount/early bird special on gold purchases???

(sorry, I live too close to St. Petersburg, Florida retirement communities to pass that one up.)

14 posts more and i turn into a "Member",but i think it involves some kind of surgery to become a "Senior Member". It is an Implant of some kind, and it comes with a free pump!!!

As a "qualified member" and soon to be "senior member", I have the privilege of informing you all, (Anthony and EGF Ronin), that it's done by "size" and not number of posts.

THAT is the reason you are both "Junior Members"...

Some day you'll grow up to be real forum "men" with real "members".

you all are too funny, but since i was reading back at what the admin said about how the members ladder works, so what happens after you posted over 100 plus? do you become admin? :P

You become a "Senior Member".

Personally I am shooting for the title, "Senor Member". Maybe I'll get lucky and they'll do a typo on my title and I'll get what I want. (sorry, can't get the little squiggle above the "n" in Senor to make it officially Spanish.)

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH WAIT! I am already a "SENIOR MEMBER"!!!
(means I get an early bird special on gold purchases)

Senior Members usually need some kind of pill,to get it going, what do you use???

Machiavelli

Monster Energy Drinks, (lime kool-aid flavor), and Rock Star Iced Tea energy drinks. I shake a little after five or six, but my typing goes up to 150 words per minute, (if you don't mind about 70 mis-spellings per minute due to the shakes). Plus if you drink enough of them, you don't have to sleep for days at a time... I can game for weeks before passing out.

I do not understand

Machiavelli

Marcos, look below your name on your post. You are a "Junior Member". You've posted less than a certain number of times.
Of course you may not understand because you are a "junior", and by understand, I mean both/either of the post ranking system, or the little pill/energy drink for getting it up. Someday, you may grow up to be a "Member". Until then, good luck.

Why have classes of members at all. When you look at some of bitter "tripe" that is put in some clan forums who cares if you are a senior or junior. If you were there in person in some states it would be grounds for legal action.
